Oh, Chipotle,
It's hard to put into words how much I love you, but I'll try because you deserve high praise. You never disappoint me. You always hit the spot. Everyone loves you. From health nuts to sorority girls, athletes to musicians, northerners to southerners, parents to children, young people to old people, You are delicious.
I don't care that Qdoba has great queso, I don't care that Moe's gives you free chips, and I certainly don't care that Salsaritas has quesoritos. Because you, Chipotle, are fresh.
Thank you for being real. You use the freshest and realest ingredients I could ever hope for. I love how I never have to worry about any preservatives or GMOs in your amazing food. I watch your employees mash up avocados for guacamole right behind the counter, so I know you're not messing around, Chipotle. I see fresh, beautifully seasoned chicken and beef on the grill being cooked by my favorite burrito roller, so I know you care about my taste buds, and I thank you. I've viewed whole vegetables in your kitchens that I know come from farms instead of factories, which makes me feel so confident in your quality. Seriously Chipotle, If you were any fresher, you would be serving people in a garden.
Thank you for not selling me short. I don't know if you're aware, Chipotle, but Moe's doesn't even have two different kinds of rice (gasp). Also, other fast food Mexican joints' burrito bowl options are just pathetic. They're small, dainty, and made of plastic. That is just so bad for the environment and for my stomach. You always remind me that guac is extra so I'm not surprised by my bill at the end, but who am I kidding, I will never say no to your guac.
Thank you for being simple and straightforward. Your menu is easy to understand and doesn't mess around. Other similar restaurants have weird names for their burritos and all different suggestions as to what I should put in mine. But you, Chipotle, let me make all of these important decisions. All of your food options are set before me, plain and simple, so I don't have to worry about a thing. You aren't complicated or confusing, because the last thing I need when I'm hungry is to be confused.
Thank you for tasting delicious. Chipotle, you have proven to the world that it is possible to use fresh ingredients at a chain restaurant level and be extremely successful. You constantly have lines out the door at all hours of the day because everyone knows, you're the best. Your ingredients taste real and that is what makes them so delectable. I can always rely on you to cure me when I'm sad or when I'm hangry or to make a good day great. Thank you for improving my life. You keep doing you, Chipotle.
