You aren't where you want to be.

Everything seems to be going a different direction then you planned, and you feel like your losing focus. Your dreams are fuzzy, your thoughts are jumbled, and you feel like you can't grasp onto a single thing.

You grab hold of something, but your grip suddenly weakens, leaving you to watch as it fades away into the distance.

Time and time again, you are left hopeless and discouraged. You start making yourself believe that you'll never find one thing that truly makes you happy. One thing to give you that 'this is where I'm meant to be' moment.

The constant discouragement seeps its way into many other aspects of your life.

You notice a major lack of motivation for things you once craved so deeply.

Things that meant everything now feel like nothing.

'What's the point?'

Life is an endless journey of uphill battles and beaten paths.

Your successes thus far have not been met without a struggle.

Your first steps? You didn't just stand up and walk the initial try. You fell, thousands of times.

The day you finally rode that bike without training wheel? Months of scrapes and bruises endured getting there.

Your high school diploma? Twelve long, grueling and possibly embarrassing years to be able to walk across that stage in your cap and gown.

Life is not easy.

You may feel like you are stuck in a never-ending rut, but you need to know that there is something great to come. Hard work, dedication, and persistence do not go unnoticed.

Trust that everything you are going through is simply preparing you for what's to come.

One milestone lends itself to another. It may take one year, it may take ten years. Your journey is unlike any other. Embrace it. Keep pushing because you will have that 'this is where I am meant to be' moment.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
