I like to think I have a distinct taste in fashion, but as I walk around campus and see what other girls are wearing, I find myself wearing and owning more of the things everyone else does. If you were ever wondering, here's a look inside the closet of your typical college girl.
Spirit jersey
This comfy shirt is a staple, and probably my favorite item in my closet during the colder months.
The Han Solo outfit
Long sleeved shirt + black vest + leggings/jeans + boots = college girl or Han Solo??
Leggings
I will fight anyone who says leggings aren't pants. They cover your legs and butt, what else do you want from them?!
At least 5 pairs of boots
One for each day of the week, of course!
Greek clothing
If you're in a sorority, it's almost impossible not to have a plethora of lettered shirts and hoodies, t-shirts from formal or date night, intramural sports, or from going to a fraternity's event.
University t-shirts
Your typical college girl has so many of these, she could open her own store to sell them or make one of those nifty blankets of them (but won't because why would you give up all of those free shirts?!)
Bubble vest
See above Han Solo reference.
Yoga pants
I don't think I know anyone who wears these just to go to yoga, they're more for comfort or when you're too lazy to put on heavier pants. (And they enhance your booty instantly!)
Clothing for every season
If your school is in an area like mine, the weather can change like *that*, so you have to be prepared to remove or add layers at a moment's notice.
Scarves
Scarves can easily spice up any outfit, and we can wear them in sooo many different ways, so why not?
