Dear Long Lost Best Friend,

You are the sister it took me way to long to find. I honestly have no idea how I’ve managed to make it this long without you in my life. I cannot wait to see where the future takes us, I’m sure it will be one heck of a ride. This one’s for you; here are a few reasons why I’m glad you’ve found your way to me:

1. You’re literally always there for me.

2. You would never judge me.

3. I know that I can rely on you to be honest (even if I sometimes hate you momentarily for it).

4. You’ve always got my back.

5. I’m almost positive we’re always thinking the same thing.

6. You are always down for coffee.

7. You’d respond at noon or at 3:00 a.m.

8. You would drop anything to help me through a crisis.

9. You are the perfect wing-girl.

10. You are the opposite of catty.

11. You’re always up for an adventure.

12. You put up with my cheesy jokes.

13. You know exactly what I mean with one facial expression.

14. You share my love for ice cream.

15. You appreciate me.

16. You don’t mind when I just need to rant.

17. You trust me enough to rant to me.

18. You would go out of your way for me.

19. You laugh with me.

20. You cry with me.

21. You make me want to be a better person.

22. I know we'll still be friends when we're 80.

23. You hold me accountable.

24. We will never run out of things to talk about.

25. You are the Rachel to my Monica, the Blair to my Serena, and the B. Davis to my P. Sawyer.

Thank you for being you, and for letting me be me. I couldn't be happier or prouder to call you my friend.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
