Life can often be complicated, things can happen and change our outlook on life. Sometimes the things that happen to us can be earth shattering, but they also shape us and make us better people. Below, I have listen six things can help you improve your life:

1. Live life to the fullest:

Living your life to the fullest is the best thing you can do when improving your life. You have to do the things you've always dreamed of while you have time. No one can live your life but you.

2. Don't be afraid to take risk:

Taking risk is the way you learn more about yourself. The things that scare you the most are usually the things that help you grow. If you dreams don't scare you, they aren't big enough.

3. Laugh more:

Laughter is the key to improving your life. You can't just sit around and be sad all of the time, laughing not only makes you feel better, it also burns calories. So don't forget to live, laugh, and love.

4. Pay it forward:

Paying it forward means to return your blessings to those in the world around you. Paying for someone's lunch, or simply being a shoulder to cry on is your way of giving back.

5. Keep an open mind:

Don't be so opinionated that no one can give you advice. Be able to take the advice that other people give you and apply it to your everyday life. "The capacity to learn is a gift; The ability to learn is a skill; The willingness to learn is a choice." Keeping your mind open, opens up a world of possibilities that you never knew were out there.

6. Don't let anyone dull your sparkle:

Make sure you ALWAYS shine bright! This life is yours for the taking, and your dreams can become a reality. Life's too short to be anything but happy. Live your life to the fullest and dance like nobody's watching!

Life is what you make it, so go out and make it fabulous, take risk, laugh more, love harder, keep an open mind, and don't ever let anyone dull your sparkle. We all have a purpose in life and how you choose to fulfil it is all up to you. I hope these words inspire you to go out and live your best life!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
