Donald Trump is now President-elect and even days after the announcement that statement still hits the ear with an odd tone. As controversial as the election trail has been, it should come as no surprise that a winner being announced - Trump or otherwise - comes with a lot of controversy. Only hours after the ballots were counted and Trump officially won, Chicago set up a protest of his victory and newly acquired title. Being interested in politics, I couldn't help but to take interest, so after an invite from a close friend of mine we went out to be a part of the display. I have pictures and footage from the protest and I also give my perspective after being a part of it all first-hand.
