You are going through the process to find your little for the week. Tensions are high and you are ready to find the one: the one that will be your little. You have been waiting for this moment since you got your own big, and now it is your turn to find the perfect addition(s) to your family. Your heart is beating faster and faster and then it’s your turn. One thing is going your mind, “I hope I get the one I want.”
The struggle to find a little is real. Finding the girl you are accepting into your family is one of the most stressful times since recruitment. You have 60 new members and three weeks to find the person you will mentor and love for the next three years of her and your own college career. You are also competing against your entire pledge class to find that one perfect girl. It might sound a little like "The Hunger Games," and honestly its pretty similar. Finding your little is a cutthroat game of who is taking who and when. It might sound awful but at the end of the day it is all worth it. There is only one true connection (unless you are taking twins) that you will make throughout this process.
Getting a little is something we have all looked forward to for months. We have crafted, we have organized serenades and done everything we could to make our little’s as happy as they can be. Although arguments will break out over who gets who, it will all work out in the end. Finding a little is an adventure, and the only advice I can give is: May the odds be ever in your favor.
