Even though summer only recently became official, these summer anthems have been alive and lighting up the airwaves for a while. But fear not! I've got the starter pack of summer '16 anthems to keep your plans as lit as possible. Here are 10 of the newest hip hop summer bangers.

In no particular order...

1. For Free- DJ Khaled feat. Drake

The West Coast, hyphy vibe of the song is perfect for the easy breezy summertime. And we all know Drake has the Midas touch.

2. New Bae- Vic Mensa

Perfect for going out and finding yourself a cutie. You need a new bae, ya know?

3. Wicked - Future

Even though I'm not the biggest fan of Future's mumbly ways, I can't deny that this song is fire. I can already tell it's going to be a club banger all throughout summer 16'.

4. By Chance - Rae Sremmurd

By far the most likable and carefree duo in all of hip hop. Their music is perfect to wild out to. If you're not listening to them not, you've got to.

5. Mixtape - Chance the Rapper feat. Young Thug and Lil Yatchy

Straight flames. Don't be that one guy who doesn't care about mixtape.

6. Wrist - Logic feat. Pusha T

The production is incredible and I can't lie about Logic's spitting skills; they are impeccable.

7. THat Part - ScHoolboy Q feat. Kanye West

This song has been on my turn-up playlist for a while. I'd highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

8. Still Brazy - YG

YG's music makes me feel like a straight gangsta when I listen to it. So I bestow that feeling onto all of you. Definitely put this onto your driving-with-the-drop-top-down playlist.

9. Hype - Drake

Drake's so hot right now you gotta put him on the list twice. VIEWS had a lot of lit tracks, but this was one of my personal faves.

10. Money Longer - Lil Uzi Vert

Stupid, mindless fun. That's how I'd describe this song. It's perfect for all of your super fun summer '16 plans.
