They say making a list of things that made your day better or that make you happy in general can help improve your mood and general life outlook. So, here are a few things that make me happy throughout the year:
1. Lattes and cappuccinos and coffee in general.
2. Lying in your bed after your clean sheets just came out of the dryer.
3. Hearing the crunch snow makes under your feet for the first time that year.
4. Getting to sip your favorite drink when you're thirsty.
5. '90's romantic comedies. 'Nuff said.
6. When my mom makes apple pie in the fall.
7. A book so good that you can read it anywhere and not get distracted; it's just that good.
8. Visiting a new place for the first time.
9. Getting a good grade on something you spent a lot of time on.
10. Taking off your makeup after a long day.
11. Having dinner with a big group of people: friends, family, etc.
12. Getting complimented by strangers.
13. Complimenting a stranger.
14. When a cat or dog voluntarily comes up to you.
15. Going shopping without the intention of buying anything and finding something you love.
16. When your hair kind of, almost behaves by itself.
17. When a little kid hugs your legs while you're standing up.
18. Your favorite song coming on in the summertime when you're driving with the windows down.
19. Having friends that you can talk to about anything and everything.
