It's official! The Gilmore Girls fans were excited to get the news that the lovable Sookie St. James (Melissa McCarthy) will be coming back for the Netflix revival. As a Gilmore Girls fan, I can say Sookie was one of my favorite characters on the show. She was fun, loving, goofy and the coolest best friend I could ever imagine Lorelai having. And don't tell me you never wanted to eat a meal cooked by her; I know you did. So, in honor of Sookie, here is a look back at some moments we've all surely missed!

1. Wasn't it the best when Sookie would say something that you could totally relate to?

We've all been there at some point. It usually happens when you're with your best friends. We feel ya, Sookie. We feel ya.

2. And wasn't it great when Sookie would do something that we could relate to as well?

I think we've all had that moment where we're telling a story we think is hilarious and then no one laughs so you have no choice but to add the "you had to be there" to the end to not make yourself seem lame.

3. For real, Sookie. You had a lot of moments that we could relate to.

How many times do we get sad and mad at the same time on a daily basis? I don't know about you, but I get smad every time I have to get up for class.

4. Oh, we've definitely missed dancing, singing, dorky Sookie.

Don't feel embarrassed when you do your Happy Dance because I bet Sookie would be so proud of you. Or dancing dorkily right there next to you.

5. There's our accident-prone Sookie we know and love.

I believe we're all accident-prone (some more than others). I mean, last night I accidentally flushed my inhaler down the toilet. I like to pretend I'm as skilled as Sookie.

6. Remember when Sookie and Lorelai wondered what Chris and Jackson would do when they went on their man date?

If you've never wondered this out loud, I'm sure you've at least wondered it in your head. What do guys do when they hang out?

7. We could always count on Sookie to make us laugh.

Awe, look. Sookie could see the future.

Usually when we're extremely bored we think 'I'm so bored I could fall asleep.' Not our girl Sookie. She's stepping up the game.

8. Gotta miss that Sookie/Michel relationship.

Have a weird habit like Michel? That's alright, it is your friend's job to either put up with it or help you with it.

9. It has been so long since those Sookie/Jackson feels!

Nervous for a date? Don't worry, Sookie's been there too. I bet she'd tell you it will be alright in the end.

10. Don't tell me you forgot about Sookie and her cooking obsessive ways.

Sookie is a perfectionist when it comes to her cooking. If anyone you know is like this, let them do their thing. Think about all the wonderful food you get to try.

11. We've all probably missed her talking about food because we also love talking about food.

And talking (or criticizing or worrying) about how others prepare their food.

And getting excited about food because of her excitement of Rory and her relationship with Dean.

Food. Food. Food. If you have a Pinterest, I'm 95% sure you have a board dedicated to food. Again, Sookie would be proud.

12. Remember the time she cried with Lorelai because she was so proud of Rory?

Anyone would be lucky to have their own Sookie. If you do have a Sookie, keep her forever and ever.

13. Bestie Hugs. Everyone deserves their own "Sookie."

Your bestie is one of the first people you go to when you have any kind of news. Aren't bestie hugs the best?

Well, there you go. You've been given a few Sookie St. James memories. Here's hoping for some more to be made in the future! We've missed you - cast of Gilmore Girls - and we can't wait to see you soon!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
