When we were tiny tots, Disney movies were our lives. They were our prized possessions. Pride and joy. Our world and everything we knew revolved around these magical films we watched for hours on end. To heck with it, most of us young adults are not hesitant to admit that we still are guilty of these movies. In the late 90s, for me at least, I did not think twice about the message or story moral that was being conveyed. I did not pay much attention to it, except for the fact that the prince swept the girl off of her feet or that everything happened happily ever after. Now, we are more mature (hopefully) and are capable of critical thinking which allows us to appreciate these movies even more than ever before.
Here are some amazing life lessons taught by some of the best Disney movies made:
1. Peter Pan
Growing up can be scary, so appreciate the time you have while you are young.

Being shy is not the worst thing.

Cinderella only asked for a night out and to feel beautiful; live life like the clock is about to strike midnight.
5. Snow White
Kindness is rich and will take you places if you are true to yourself. Oh, and also, do not trust strangers, lol.
6. Lilo and Stitch
You do not to be blood related to call someone your family.
7. Frozen
You do not need a man to complete you; a happy ending does not necessarily mean finding a significant other. It is important to keep in mind that friendship contains the strongest love of all.
8. Mulan
Work hard and do not let others define you as society deems you to be.

Taking the time to really get to know someone is worth it.

19. The Lion King
Learning from the past is one of the greatest tools that history teaches us. Also, do not stop protecting and do not forget to be worry free.

Differences exist and we need to accept them. Also, fight for what your heart believes.
21. Finding Nemo
