Daily life situations told by the wonderful (and explicit) lyrics of songs by Nicki Minaj. Enjoy this, and definitely listen to all the songs afterwords! (You won't be able to stop, trust me.)

1. “You used to be here, now you're gone Nair.”

From the bop, "Did It On Em'" this sassy lyric makes an everlasting impression. Not only is it fun to belt it out when we’re all trying to rap, but we all had someone in our lives who was in our lives and just walked out of our lives in some way.

2. “Bitch talk slick, I'm a have to terminate her.”

Also from Minaj’s song, "Did It On Em’" we all had a little drama in our lives where we had someone testing our patience. There’s two kinds of people though, one who puts up with shit talking, and one that ends it.

3.“Picked up my phone cause I had to call 'Bullshit!'"

From Nicki Minaj’s remix of "Black Beatles" called "Black Barbies," sometimes we have to call a bitch out on her shit.

4.“I'm throwing shade like it's sunny.”

From "Want Some More" on "The Pink Print," I’m pretty sure this is self explanatory. Gotta love that tea.

5. “I am not a girl who can ever be defined.”

From the power house anthem, "Fly" featuring Rihanna, comes this meaningful line. We should always remember that each and every one of us is special and unique in our own ways.

6."I’mma keep it movin', be classy and graceful."

From Nicki Minaj’s slow yet timeless song "Pills N Potions," we must always remember that life goes on, and although it may be rough, we have to handle situations with our best foot forward, and be, of course, classy and graceful with it all.

7.“So make sure the stars is what you aim for, make mistakes though."

From "The Night Is Still Young," Nicki reminds us to pursue our dreams, and to not be discouraged when we make mistakes. After all, mistakes are a part of life.

8.“Cause we the mean girls, y-yes we so fetch.”

From Nicki’s featuring verse in the "Whip My Hair Remix," is the ultimate lyric of showing how much you can feel yourself in any given moment in any given day especially when you’re with your squad.

9. “I don’t fuck with them chickens, unless they last name is cutlet.”

From the hit "Only" featuring Lil Wayne, Drake and Chris Brown, comes a line that summarizes the universal love for food or in particular CHICKEN. (Sorry to all our vegetarians out there!)

10. “He be like, 'Yo, you so legendary,' But he can tell just by my face he ain't getting any."

When Nicki Minaj in "Four Door Aventador" perfectly describes when you’re single and loving every moment of it.

11. "I just wanna be somebody that can add to, your wife, be a friend, be a teacher and a fan, too."

In the song "Favorite" featuring Jeremih, the lyrics perfectly describe when you’re catching some real feelings. You don’t just want to be another girlfriend. You want to be friend, a fan, a teacher and maybe one day a wife.*winks*

I think we can all agree that Nicki Minaj has a way with words, as well as being so damn relatable. Thank you dear old Onika for capturing the mass majority with your bangin' lyrics.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
