The time has come for me to share my love for a product oh so beautiful, yet oh so trendy and eco-friendly. I'm about 98% sure other students in my classes know me as the "water bottle" girl because you can bet your bottom dollar that I will whip out my water bottle and place it on my desk for all to see and admire. This water bottle is not just any water bottle, it is my friend, my companion, my most important human resource container -- it's my S'well water bottle.

I came across these sleek stainless steel water bottles last year when a couple of my close friends started using them and I couldn't get over how cool they looked. I was still using my Camelbak and I honestly believe that I wasn't drinking enough water because my water bottle wasn't fun to drink from (I promise this is a real phenomenon). I was intrigued by the water bottle solely based on how it looked, but before I got one, I had absolutely no idea on how much cold water I was missing.

I received my first S'well water bottle as a gift, and I can tell you right now, this is the most practical and useful thing I have ever gotten, because I use it every single day, and I LOVE to drink water now. Twisting on the metal cap and taking a swig of water from it many times each day brings me happiness. Let me tell you why you need to get your hands on this water bottle ASAP.

First of all, it is durable and sturdy and can be used for any of your lifestyle activities. If you want cold water, it will keep your water cold for 24 hours, and if you want to put hot coffee or tea in it, it will keep it warm for twelve hours. I also love how pretty my bottle is. Being able to select a fun pattern instead of a yucky plastic color makes it that much better. The bottle is also not bulky and will fit in any spaces easily. You can get them in a nine ounce, a 17 ounce, or a 25 ounce size, which can hold a bottle of wine in case you were curious! Not only are these great in reducing your plastic water bottle usage, the company is committed to serving the community and improving access to safe water all across the world.

Everyone should become the "water bottle girl" or "water bottle guy" in their classes and proudly whip out their S'well bottle. It will be sure to brighten your day and refresh your insides. My life is actually elevated because of the S'well bottle and I am more hydrated than a fish! Do me and yourself a favor and snag one of these puppies up to strengthen your water bottle game. Check out their website right here and see for yourself what you are missing!

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?
