*SPOILER ALERT* 6 Important Life Lessons Frozen II Taught Me

In This Article:

Frozen II came out on November 22, 2019, roughly six years after the original Frozen debuted. It has already become the highest-grossing debut animated film as well as the largest opening for any Walt Disney Animation Studios release.

So you may be asking how good is the movie really? I am here to tell you it is EVERYTHING and more. The movie is more than just a kid movie about sisters who are princesses. It is a beautifully animated tale of two sisters and how their family became to be. It is a movie that makes you reflect on your own life. As well as it is a movie that makes you feel so happy and magical.

1. Family is everything.

@disneyfrozen

Once again Frozen II blew me away with the amount of sisterly love Anna and Elsa have for each other. Frozen II only showed how much their love for each other grew. However, this movie Anna is determined to protect her sister at all cost and refuses to let Elsa leave her side. This move goes deep into the family bond of Elsa and Anna and where it all began with their parents. **SPOILER ALERT** Their parents make a huge appearance in the movie and Elsa and Anna come to discover that their parents came from two different villages that actually fought each other. This movie shows that love conquers all and the love you have your family overcomes anything.

2. Always find humor even in the little things

@joshgad

Olaf was again the star of the show. Olaf continued to find ways to create humor even amongst unknown circumstances. Olaf has put in quite uncomfortable situations where he did not understand and actually sang a song about understanding all of it when he was older. Olaf's humor reminds us that we should always try to find humor even in the most difficult, unknown circumstances. Olaf continued to bring joy to Anna even when he was melting away. Try to find the best in situations and you can overcome anything.

3. Its okay to go into the unknown

@disneyfrozen

In this movie, Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven are forced to go into the unknown. They did not know what to expect went hey entered the hidden forest. They did not know what the outcomes would be. That was okay though because in life you are forced to go into the unknown. Sometimes you will not know what the outcome of a situation will be, but you should still go for it. You will learn so much bout yourself by pushing yourself to do things that may seem scary and unknown. You never know the outcome may be better than what you thought.

4. Some things will change

YouTube

At the beginning of the movie, Anna actually sang about some things never changing. However, sometimes things have to change. Sometimes we get stuck in a cycle of wanting life to be absolutely perfect and do not try to do new things. When we allow ourselves to let change happen the outcome becomes greater than we imagined. In Anna's case, things changed when they choose to go into the hidden forest. Anna ends up becoming queen and Elsa instead stays back to watch over the hidden forest and its people. Things had to change for Anna and Elsa but that does not mean their love for each other changed.

5. It's okay to feel emotions

@disneyfrozen

In the movie, Kristoff became very emotional when he spoke of Anna and wanting to marry her. In one part Anna left with Elsa and left Kristoff behind. Kristoff became very emotional and expressed his emotions for Anna in a song. Kristoff's emotions for Anna can teach us that it is okay to feel emotions. Especially as a male, it is okay to be sad and express tour love for someone. Everyone is strong in their own way, but it is also okay to break down every now and again.

The person you seek to be is within yourself

YouTube

The whole movie Elsa is seeking to find someone or something off in the distance. She can hear this person and feel this person but she does not see them. She enters the hidden forest in hopes to discover who this person is. However the whole time the person she was looking for was herself. She had all the answers but was too self-conscious to admit that she had the power to do anything. Elsa can teach us that in life we may always try and seek others out there, but in reality, we are enough. We are who we are supposed to be.

Overall this movie had fantastic takeaways he more then what I listed. This movie is more than a kids movie and I recommend going and seeing it as many times as you. This is truly a fantastic movie.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
