Dear self,
Take a second to just breath.
I know it may feel like you have nothing figured out, but you'll look back one day and realize everything was falling into place right before your eyes.
The life you have is nothing but wonderful, and don't ever take any part of it for granted. Every negative thing that has happened will only make you a better, stronger person, and every good thing that has happened will make you appreciative and humble.
Cherish the people you have in your life because they're half the reason for your happiness. They will give you memories to laugh about for years, and speak wise words you should live by. Some should be kept in the past, but you won't realize that until the time has come. These people will teach you lessons about yourself and life that you would never be able to learn on your own.
Your parents will do so much for you, and for that you should always find ways to thank them. Spend as much time with them as you can, especially when coming back from college. They've gotten use to you living at home for 18 years, and even though they'll say other wise, they miss hearing you sing in the shower while taking up all the hot water.
Don't make the boy you love right now your entire life because, if he ever leaves, you will feel so lost. Wait until the right person comes along to invest your time in. You should never have anything less than a smile on your face anytime you're with this person.
If you ever feel down, pick yourself up. Even when you feel like you have nothing left inside of you, remember the small things in life that make it worth living.
Do not worry about things that have not yet happened, and do not try and fix things that never needed fixed in the first place.
You will love this world, and the world will love you back in return. Always remain true to who you are.
If there's one thing you should do every day: wear a smile on your face.
Enjoy what is yet to come in this adventurous world.
