To my dearest sister,
I can't even begin to express how I feel about you. You blessed this world and I was lucky enough to be granted the title of your older sister. You always find a way to light my life up with joy and you make me a proud sister everyday. Even if you push my buttons at times, I will always love you unconditionally. How do I even begin to try and explain the feelings of joy that I get when I realize how lucky I am to have you? This should be tough, but here's my best shot.
You're such a blessing to the world and I'm still amazed by the little things that you do. You have more perseverance and endurance than anyone I know. You never give up on your dreams, no matter how hard life gets. You're the sweetest person that I know and I always know that I can depend on you. Thank you for letting me vent to you about all of my woes and for just being there to listen. I love when you call me because just the sound of your voice can make my day.
You're a queen. You can do no wrong in my eyes since my love for you is unconditional. The first time that I saw you I sat on the couch and held you and told you that I would always protect you. Granted, that was 15 and a half years ago, but hopefully, I've kept my word. All that I want to do is make the world better for you. I never want you to encounter trouble or anything that makes you wary. That being said, life hands you obstacles and you just have to roll with it sometimes.
You need to understand that nobody can ever make you feel inferior. It makes my heart hurt when you're upset. Friends fall through, school gets tough, and maybe you're having a bad day, but you just need to put a smile on your face and put yourself out there. You can do anything that you put your mind to. Never let anyone make you feel inferior. Never give anyone the power to ruin your mood. You are such a special individual and nobody should be able to dull your sparkle.
I always believe in you -- even when you don't believe in yourself, I do. Always know that I'm going to support you in anything and everything. Whether it's sending you pictures of motivational quotes or calling you to hear about your day, I want to do everything that I can to show you how much I love you and care for you. I want to make the world a better place for you. You are the sole creator of your future, but that doesn't mean that you can't have a support system. I will always be there in any situation, anytime, and any place. I'm all yours.
