Dear Dork,
To start this off right, I want you to know that I couldn't ask for a crazier, more obnoxious, loud mouth partner in crime. And you have to know that no matter our distance, no one could ever replace you. You've left a mark on my heart since the day you were born (even if I tried to return you) and it was written in the stars that we would forever be joined at the hip even if we didn't know it ourselves.
Although I may not always say directly "I love you," know that those words are always in my actions. When I yell at you to get a coat because it's cold out, when I wake you up early to make sure you finished your homework you forgot to do, when I shove you around and run into you on purpose or when I hold you tight because you've had a hard day and just need a hug even though you don't want one, these are the ways that I tell you. I'm hard on you because I know that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. I'm mean to you so that when you get out there in the real world, you won't be afraid of whatever comes your way. But I show you as much love as I possibly can so you never accept anything less.
You are an amazing person and if I could give you everything, I would. Saying I love you to the moon and back wouldn't be enough to describe how much you mean to me. Besides being my sister, you're my best friend and I couldn't ask for anyone better. You may get on my nerves, but that's your job and you do it well. But as much as I've taught you, you've taught me too. You've taught me to be a fighter even when I don't want to and you've taught me that it's OK to cry. You've taught me that the world is better when you smile but most of all, you've taught me a friendship can last a lifetime. Age is nothing but a number, so our gap in age is irrelevant. What matters is what's in front of us. You've got me and I've got you and that's all that matters. I hope you know I wouldn't trade you for anything in this world because even if I had it, it wouldn't mean a thing if I didn't have you to share it with.
