To the girl waiting for her happy ending,

I am the same as you, I have waited for years for the happily ever after that society and the world have constantly expressed. Whether that is through the various fairy tail movies like Tangled or even Cinderella, which is my absolute favorite, or even the happy ending we see and hear about on the news; regardless of everything I have waited. I have waited so long it feel like it has been centuries but instead it has only been nineteen years of dreams and wishes. I have felt the same emotions as you, I know there are times where you are content with how you live your life and have no doubts about waiting but then there are those moments where you lie awake in bed wishing desperately for it to happen and wondering why it hasn't occurred yet.

I want you to know that what you feel is completely normal, you have every right to feel those emotions and that you are not crazy for waiting. I am positive there has been thousands of people who wait for their happily ever after, they go about their lives simply waiting for that someone or something to be placed in their life. The waiting part is the most challenging but when that person or situation happens you will never forget it. I promise that to you. You may feel alone but that is incorrect, many people have shared those feelings of frustration and disappointment plenty of time so never believe that you are the only one. You may feel like giving up is the best option but I urgently suggest to you to not do that. Keep waiting and being patient. I know it is extremely difficult but just keep waiting, if you give up then you most likely will regret it one day. So please from one dreamer to another don't give up on waiting for your dream to come true or living happily ever after.
