A Letter to the Friends I Made Freshman Year of College

To the friends I made this year,

I just wanted to say thank you for all of the amazing memories our Freshman years gave us. Who knew that when we all moved in last August we would be as close as we are now. We all came in nervous to start this new chapter of our lives, but finished the semester with friendships that will hopefully last a lifetime. In the beginning, we spent numerous nights helping each other cram for tests and exams, but also became closer through our infamous movie nights.

And of course I can't go without mentioning all of our late night Wawa and Dunkin runs. Throughout the seasons we've supported each other at different sporting events and celebrated our birthdays together. They say you meet your best friends in college, and in this case I'm glad to say I've met such a great group of people. All of the craziness of our Freshman years threw us together and made us friends and I can't wait to see what Sophomore year brings us. Thanks for all of the great memories, and heres to many more to come.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
