When I first met you I never knew it would be this way. I went into the date with zero expectations. Obviously I thought you were cute, but I did not expect what came next. I never thought that that day would change my life for the better in every way. It was a simple date, Buffalo Wild Wings to watch a football game, but it was perfect. I did not think there was going to be a second or third date. I'm so glad there was.

You've changed my life. As cliche as it sounds, everything is better with you. Normal everyday things have turned into so much more. I hate sleeping without you anymore. I want to spend everyday with you. Watching football isn't such a chore anymore because I like seeing how much you enjoy it. Even when you are not with me, I find myself wondering if you would enjoy the activity I'm doing or the food I'm eating.

I never thought that I would find someone like you. Someone who makes me feel so complete. When I'm with you everything else doesn't matter anymore. I smile more than I've ever smiled when I'm with you. I laugh more than I have ever laughed. You make me feel beautiful and loved everyday. I only hope I can make you feel as amazing as you make me feel.

Thank you for everything and by everything I mean literally EVERYTHING. Thank you for loving me everyday. I know I'm a handful, a brat, and crazy like ALL the time but you never hold it against me. Thank you for hanging out with my family as much as we do. I know you didn't sign up to help with my nephew but you do and you are so incredible with him. Thank you for always helping me with my homework because God knows I need it. You bring out the best in me whether it's with homework or anything else.

Most importantly thank you for communicating with me, listening to me, and talking to me. We have our fair share of fights but we always work through. You never let me leave arguments unresolved. I love that about you. I know it's hard sometimes but you never let it phase you. It never scares you away.

I didn't know that one day you would come along and turn my world upside down, but I'm so very glad you did. Everything in my life is better because you're in it. I honestly never knew i could be this happy. Guess what, I love you more.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
