Dear Roomie,
First things first, you’re the absolute best person ever, and I can’t imagine my life without you. Now, with that unoriginal sappiness out of the way, I want to thank you for a few things that you have done this semester.
Thank you for sharing candy and food with me when I’m sad and tired, which never fails to make my day. Thank you for writing sweet notes for me in the room and on the door. Thank you for letting me win most arguments, like agreeing with me that it's always your shoes that smell, if our room ever smells. Thank you taking naps with me and then stealing fruit from the dining hall afterwards. Thank you for watching "Pride and Prejudice" with me in sync on separate laptops at top volume; I’ve never felt so lazy. Finally, thank you for supplying the tea to our party of two, especially when those parties are just us gossiping at the end of the night and giving each other advice.
This is an appreciation letter to you, my roommate. I hope that you know I love you to the full extent of my ability and appreciate everything you do.
Thank you and I love you,
Hanna
