I grew up like most kids do. Two parents, school, lots of friends... but having a stepdad, a third parent, wasn't abnormal to me. After my parents' divorce, my mother was alone until I was five years old. When she met you, our entire world changed.
Having a father who wasn't usually around for me, you really stepped up to the plate. You bought me candy when I was little, you came to all of my musicals and choir performances; you've even helped me along in my musical career. You contribute a generous amount to my college fund and encourage me in my craft every single day.
Aside from supporting me financially and emotionally, you treat me and love me as if I were your own daughter. The fact that we aren't blood related doesn't matter; you are a parental figure through and through.

The impact you've had on my life has been monumental. From watching hilarious movies to picking on Mum together, from vacationing in pretty much every nice location a kid could dream of to allowing me to meet famous people and buying me the most beautiful guitar; from helping me through college to constantly reminding me that "we just need one hit", your support has been endless.
Maybe this sounds cliche, but there really aren't enough words to thank you. Words don't justify how much I value your role in my life. But I'll still say thank you for everything you do for me every day of my life.
