Dear *insert friends' name here,*
Thanks for being my friends. Thank you for being my friends regardless of how much of shit shows we all are together. Despite the fact that I didn't find my husband in college, I found something better. I found you all. I found my people. My best friends. My life partners. My fellow degenerates. You are my friends that convince me to start the weekend on a Tuesday because "Monday was rough." My friends who help me compose that "come over" text at 2 a.m. because our motto is "only good things happen after 2 a.m."
You are all my support team. Usually, in life you find that one person that is your absolute best friend that you text nonstop about nonsense that clearly doesn't matter. I am #blessed enough to have found an entire group of people that I can text non-stop about how boys give me anxiety, which formal dress to wear, answer my question about "should I get laid tonight", how much school work I always have because all I do is study, how my family is giving me an ulcer, that puppy I saw last week, or the burrito I ate at Chipotle. I know you all will be there for me regardless of how stupid the topic is. Not all people are lucky enough to have one person, let alone a group. This is something I will never and refuse to take for granted.
So this is a thank you. A thank you to my guy friends for letting me cry on their shoulders when my ex and I broke up, for picking out my formal dresses for me, for teaching me how to lift in the gym, for letting me wear your flannels, sweat pants, and t-shirts, for always picking me up when I'm down, and for being the best big brothers I could ever ask for. A thank you to my girlfriends for tolerating me 24/7 every single day of the week, for listening to my rants, for making me laugh so hard I have to pee, for being my constant rocks, for hating that one girl that I hate with me (because it's fun to hate someone together), for being my sisters, for being my best friends, and for being my future bridesmaids (God willing).
Thank you. Most importantly, thank you for supporting me and sticking by my side for the past four years. I thank God every day that He put you all in my life because without ya'll, I'd be a disaster.
