Dear Little,
Here's to you Little, for being awesome, for being fun, for being super adorable, and for being you! Thank you for all that you do for me. Thank you for unknowingly saving me from dropping. Thank you for adding on to my family. Thank you for giving me something to care for and watch grow up. Yes, I am making you seem like my first born child, but you basically are!
The first day I met you, I knew you were the one! I knew you were meant to be my Little. I knew I was meant to guide you through your first year of college. I knew I was meant to show you the ropes of the sorority. I knew I would teach you all I know about which fraternity parties to avoid and what boys to kiss. So, thank you for dealing with my annoying match making and constant rambling.
Once you become a Big, you will understand the 'mom' duties that come along with the title. As a Big, I have to make sure you attend events, get involved in the sorority, make sure you make it home safely every night, make sure you don't get your heart broken, and help you find your Little. Before you came along I was a sorority orphan (my Big was gone and my previous Littles dropped). I had to start a family all by myself, and I wouldn't want to do that with anyone else but you! Now it's time for you to pick a perfect Little to add to our perfect family.
I show pictures of you to my parents, my brothers, my friends—everyone! I show you off because you are just so perfect! We scream with joy every time we are reunited, even if we just saw each other a few hours ago. We are constantly taking new pictures to post. We campaign ourselves for the 'Cutest Big Little' award (we'll get them next year!). I hang out with you at Formal more than with my date. We sit by each other in Chapter to gossip about the weekend, and I know that I can call or text you at any time of the day!
You are my family, and I am yours. Thank you for being my home away from home. Thank you for making the endless hours of crafting worth it. I love you and appreciate you more than you would ever know! Now go make me a Grand Big and let's make this next year count. Love you Little!
