You probably don't hear this enough but, thank you. Thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for being by my side through all the rough patches and the easy ones. Thank you for all the laughs and crazy nights. You have put up with so much with me and you are still standing by my side. You are my everything and more. So this letter is for you.

My love,

We have known each other for 4 years now and in those 4 years I never saw myself where I am today. You were with someone else who I never really liked, but I saw happiness on your face so I was happy that you had someone. Even though I only saw you once a week at softball it still killed me. Every time I saw you I would think, 'I wish I was her, being able to be with you all the time.' A few months after the season ended I saw that you were no longer with her and I got happy, but I knew you were talking to other people so my chance was very slim. You got up the courage to finally ask me out on a date, and that was one of the best days I have ever had. We went to Outback for dinner and then the movies. You gave me a gift, some flowers and a poster of things we should do together. The very last thing on the poster was "Fall for each other" and we did.

We have had our ups and downs but who doesn't? They only make us stronger. I know I can be a pain sometimes -most times - but you are still there for me no matter what. I know I can push your buttons and I don't mean to but, again, you are still there.

You are my everything and more. I want you to know that.

I love you.

-Stephanie

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
