To The Forever Friend I'll Love Forever

Without you, I would be lost.

To The Forever Friend I'll Love Forever
Ally Mishell Smith

Dear Best Friend,

Thank you.

Thank you for loving me for the crazy, emotional person that I am. When everyone else left, you stayed. When I felt like no one else was on my side, you were there, holding my hand and telling me, "It's going to be OK." When I hit rock bottom, you were there to pick me back up again.

You give the best advice and always know exactly what to say, even if it's not what I want to hear. You can tell if I'm having a bad day, just by looking at me, even if I tell you I'm fine. I never feel like I have to cover up the real me when I'm around you. You know all of my imperfections, mistakes, and insecurities, yet you chose to stick around and love me anyway.

I can't put into words how much that means to me. I've lost many friends in my life, and you stuck by my side through them all. You listen to all my talk about boys and you hold me when I cry about said boy. For a long time, I felt like I had no true friends in my life, but then you came into my life and made me realize that there are still good people in the world. Sometimes, we can go weeks without talking to each other, and other times we can't go 5 minutes without saying something.

There is no one else I'd rather rant about work or talk about how awesome God is. There is no one else I'd want to have a Disney dance party in the car with. There is no one I'd want to get Taco Tuesday with every week. There is no one else I'd want to call me at 11 p.m., just to hear my voice. There is no one else I'd want to have by my side, holding my hand as we go through life.

I'll always be here to listen to your rant about boys, work and, people in general. I'll always be your listening ear, shoulder to cry on, and hand to hold. No matter where life takes you, always remember that I'm going to support you 100 percent of the time.

Never forget your worth, because you are worth more than rubies (Prov. 31:10) Never forget how beautiful you are. Never lose your faith. You mean so much to me and I will never, ever leave you.

I love you with my whole heart. I love you for all that you are, all that you have been, and all that you have yet to be. Thank you for being my best friend and my person. Anyone would be lucky to have you in their life, and I'm so thankful that you chose to be in mine.

Much Love,

Your BFF

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
