Hey you,

I thought it was about time I gave you a proper "thank you." I never really get the chance to say it in person. I guess I never remember to say it. But here are a few things you do that deserve a thank you and don't go unnoticed.

Thank you for listening to me ramble on about the stupidest little things. As you obviously know by now, I'm not a shy person. Throw a topic my way and I'll talk for hours. Thank you for willingly sitting with me and talking about everything under the sun. Only you understand what I really mean when I say half of the things that come out of my mouth.

Thank you for welcoming me with open arms when I need a hug the most. Whether it was a broken heart or a broken nail, you've always been there for me to run to with any problem. I can't thank you enough for holding me when something tragic happened and for helping me through all of my problems.

Thank you for telling me the truth, no matter how hard it would hurt. The truth can be hard to get out sometimes. I thank you for telling me the truth even when I don't want to hear it. Remember when you told me that my ex-boyfriend wasn't worth it and I refused to listen? I now thank you for telling me. I can't even imagine how hard that must have been for you. Thank you for building up the courage to tell me, even though it had to have been tough on you.

Thank you for believing in me during the times I didn't believe in myself. Through all of the years I have known you, you have never told me I "can't do it". You've always pushed me past what I thought was my breaking point. You've reminded me of how strong I am. Through it all, you believed in me when no one else did.

Thank you for all of our inside jokes that no one else understands. The stupid jokes you and I have are what keep me going. Creating jokes about the little things that happen in our lives allow us to bond even more than we do. Those inside jokes may seem like only jokes at the time, but I want you to know how much I appreciate them.

Thank you for listening to all of my secrets and keeping them safe. The amount of secrets of mine you have is infinite. Some of these secrets I told you on complete accident, some I told you because I couldn't keep them to myself. Keeping these secrets proved to me how much you care, and I honestly think you are amazing because of it.

Thank you for being YOU. This is one thing I can't thank you enough for. I could thank you every day for everything you have ever done for me, and it still wouldn't be enough. Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for me. I love you for it all.
