My Guardian Angel,

You were taken from me far too soon, but it is selfish of me to have wanted you to live another day in such agony. Although I am completely heartbroken, I know you are exactly where you're supposed to be.

Truth be told, this world didn't deserve you. Words don't even begin to do you justice. You were a breath of fresh air to everyone in your presence.

I'm honored to have had someone as amazing as you in my life. I hope you know how special you are, and how much of an impact you made on me. I can only aspire to be even just half of the woman you are.

Your kindness, your strength, charisma, poise, and spunk are things I will forever carry with me in my heart. You are one of a kind. Nothing or no one could ever replace you, but I promise to help you live on through me.

Everything I do, I will do for you and with your grace.

You gave me a reason to smile on the darkest days. When things were tough, I always knew I had you and your love. You showed me time and time again to keep standing up, no matter how many times you get knocked down.

You are the true definition of a fighter.

You belong to the sky and are sitting high with people who absolutely adore you. You're in a place where you can no longer be in pain. God is welcoming you with the brightest of smiles and kindest of love.

But if I had to ask you just one thing, it would be to watch over me every day as you used to when you were here. This world wasn't as gentle to you as it could have been, but you never failed to see the light in the darkest of days. You give me something to believe in, a reason to be hopeful that better days are on their way.

Please, don't let this world turn me bitter. Let me know that you are still here, with me, every step of the way. I know that with you on my side, I will have the strength to withstand the roughest of storms.

I promise to make you proud. I promise to have the faith in God you do. I promise to make sure you are never forgotten.

I'm thankful for every hug, every laugh, smile, and even the moments of stillness. They are memories I will forever hold close to my heart. Saying goodbye to you was the hardest thing I have ever had to do, but it is nothing compared to the fight you fought.Now you are no longer suffering, and are running around, dancing, singing without a worry in this world, just as it should be. You are living a much more abundant life, surrounded by the ones you missed the most.

But know the ones down here love you just as much. We are missing you more and more with every growing day.

I know we will meet again in paradise and it will be the sweetest thing I've ever known. Until then, I will be patiently waiting to be reunited and give you the world's biggest hug and laugh, cry, sing, and dance with you for eternity.

We may not have had all the time together down here, but in Heaven's gates, we will have an eternity.
