First of all, I would like to say Merry Christmas and I hope your holidays have been nothing but amazing. This year has brought so many ups and downs, but I am so glad you all have been with me through everything. I'm going to go one-by-one by having a special letter to each of y'all.

Dear Mom and Dad: Thank you so much for being there for me every step of the way. I know I go back on forth on what I want to do with my future, but you both are always there for me to support me and let me choose my own path.I don't think y'all realize how important you both are to me. I know we don't talk everyday when I'm away, but I always have you guys on my mind.

Dad, you work so hard for this family and I cannot thank you enough that you do so. You work so hard that we are able to go on amazing trips (like the one we're about to take to California...Go Dawgs) and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Mom, I know you don't believe any of us when we tell you this, but you are the best mom you could ever be. You do so much for us that you don't realize. You show your daughters how to be a strong woman and I know if I'm not the slightest like you when I'm a mom, then I did something wrong. Love y'all both to the moon and back!!

Dear Tara and Darby: This year has been a tough one on us. It's the first year where all three of us are in a different place and we aren't seeing each other once a week. Thank goodness for Facetime, or I wouldn't know how we would survive! It's been hard, but I can still feel both of y'all's support all the way in Mississippi and I hope you both can feel mine. While we're all on our different paths, we always come back to each other and I CANNOT wait until all three of us are back together. I love being the baby sister to you both because I have the best sisters to follow behind.

Dear Isabelle, Sophie, Kat, Emma, and Krista: We've been through it all. From eating lunch together freshman year to Labor Day Weekend junior year to our many spring breaks together, and to graduating high school together. I wouldn't want my best friends to be anyone else. Through the ups and downs, we always have the best intentions at heart. We had the best laughs together and still everyday y'all make me crack up. While we all took different paths, our friendships with each other go so much stronger. Bless St. Pius X for bringing me some of the best people in my life.

Dear Carter, LK, Lauren B, Gwen, Taylor, Mary Glenys, Sydney, Bailey, Breanna, Amelia, Elizabeth, Kade, Megan, and Hannah: Y'all are the best people I have ever met in my life. God Bless Mississippi State, but most importantly Sessums Hall, for bringing us all together. The fact that we all get along so smoothly even though we all come from different backgrounds is so amazing. We have so many laughs, late nights to Sonic or any other fast food restaurant, and so many fun nights out and about. Y'all are my heart and soul and I cannot wait to see where we all go together. Slums forever and ever.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
