In a perfect world, having to grow up and live separately would not exist. Our bond would not be interfered by distance and the time I spent with my sister would be up to us. But I realize neither one of us want to be the next version of "Sister Wives", and the day I have always dreaded will come regardless of whether or not I am ready.

She has a beautiful heart and deserves a great guy to share her life with. I know that. After all, my life won't be her life anymore. We will live separately one day, and not have the opportunity to enjoy each other's company as much as I would like. One day her closet will no longer be mine, and I will no longer know every friend she has, or have the opportunity to pour a heavy amount of salt in her drinks daily or sneak hot sauce in her foods. She will be no longer be dancing with me but with you. She will be married and hopefully her biggest dreams become reality. She'll want 3 kids as her names of them have been picked out for as long as I can remember. When that one day comes, the day that you two are married, I hope we are just as close. I hope the marriage you two share will never jeopardize our love for each other and we always remain the best of friends.

Although I don't know your name nor what you'll look like, I have no doubt you are absolutely great. But, here's something I would like you to know.

My sister chose you, therefore, I am sure you are quite the charmer, one who tolerates being around a picky eater and goes with the flow very easily. I am sure you have a great sense of humor, a lover of sarcasm, making you two a total match. You probably also have a great sense of style, if not she'll change that. She is full of sass but with a heart of pure gold, I know you figured that out pretty quickly.

We grew up in a broken home, so I know she will take the marriage you two share seriously. She will love you well, that's a promise I can make. She has been through a lot and knows the value of compassion and how important a "good" marriage is.

I have watched her become into an amazing human being. She is an incredibly positive person whose world revolves around the ones she loves most.

My desires are for that our holidays will always be spent together. I hope our sibling's trips turn into couple's trips. I hope we have children around the same age and they too, will grow up close.
