Dear Sis,

The day we have longingly put off has arrived. It seems like just yesterday we were selling lemonade in our matching sundresses and singing along to Shania Twain songs. From ballet class to playing doubles in tennis, we have always been a package deal. You have been faithful and a true friend through all of the good and bad times. I want to tell you that I will always be here for you, even though I may not always be around. So, I want to share with you a few things I wish I could be there to tell you everyday. Always remember...

You are brave. I want you to remember this everyday. You are capable of truly amazing things, and don't you ever forget it. Whether you have the best day of your life, or a day you wish you could do over, you are doing your best! The opinions of others do not define you. Surround yourself with people who lift you up and genuinely care for you. Stand up for yourself, and let your voice be heard.

You are beautiful. A million times more beautiful than your reflection in the mirror and your most recent selfie. Beauty is not defined by the length of your hair, shade of lipstick or amount of mascara. True beauty comes from within and shines through. You are beautiful on the inside and out. Your caring heart is a reflection of true beauty through your gorgeous blue eyes.

You are smart. For starters, your memory is scary amazing. The way you can remember quotes, titles and something that happened to you five years ago is pretty cool. You are inspiring to those around you. You are hardworking and very determined. You may be younger than me, but I have learned so much from you. I have faith in you and I know you will do well with all of your future endeavors.

You are kind. Ever since we were little, you have always had my back. You are always the person I can trust and want to talk to. You are caring and so genuine. Anyone would be so blessed to have you in their life! You accept those around you and treat them with love and respect. You see the world in a brighter light. You bring hope to those who are lost. Your smile lights up a room!

I love you so much! I am going to miss you more than anything! I want you to know that no matter where I am, I will always be your sister. Whenever you need anything, I'm only a text, phone call, FaceTime or drive away. Keep an eye on Mama and Daddy for me. Love you forever and always!!! Thank you for being my best friend and the most amazing sister.
