As the year starts to wind down, the craziness starts to hit. Everyone is going crazy over finals and going crazy about moving out. It's hard to focus on anything at this point and you're heart and mind are going a mile a minute. Because of this, we forget to thank the one person who has been there for us since day one, our roommate.

If you're like me, you won't be living with the same roommate next semester and it feels weird. You've spent an entire year together in your small living space and making some of the best memories that you will always hold to your heart. Neither of you guys talk about moving out because it's weird to imagine living with someone other than your current roommate. The year was full of ups and downs and your roommate seemed to be the only constant support in your life.

It's time to start saying thank you to your partner in crime. Your roommate was amazing this past year and while saying goodbye is hard, it is a part of life. Roomie, this is to you.

Thank you for accepting my weirdness. I know that I am not easy to get along with at all and after a week, I felt like I had a friend in this crazy world called college. You started being weird with me and life became more fun. I'll never forget you crying at goat videos and I know you will never let me forget the time I freaked out because there was a bug in the shower. You let me be myself and I'm so grateful for that.

Thank you for always being down for getting food. Food is my number one bae and sharing that love of food with you made our lives interesting. Our midnight "nuggie runs" that ended up with us being able to recite the others order will be something I will hold close to my heart. If you ever need someone to take you to Wendy's to get a large Diet Coke, hit me up and we'll have more crazy food runs.

Thank you for letting me rant. I know I rant a lot and you always were ready to listen to me rant. You came up with the best solutions to my problems and whenever I needed someone to justify that I wasn't being crazy, you did that for me. I don't know what I'm going to do when I need to rant next semester because texting will never do it justice. I'll just have to break into your room to rant to you.

Thank you for not snoring. I really appreciate being able to sleep soundly every night and not being woken up by your noises. Thanks for accepting my light snoring. I know it's not something I can control but you never gave me too much crap for it so thank you.

Overall, thank you for being the best roommate I could ever ask for. Some people end up getting disaster roommates but you weren't too bad. I would say that I hope that we are friends after this year, but we already have plans for the summer so I'm not worried about that. You're a dynamite gal and I will always be there for you if you ever need anything. Love you roomz.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
