Padres,

A "Thank You" does not do justice. Since the day my first eldest sister was born, you have done everything in your power to provide the best for us. Not once can I say that you haven't. Fast forward to 18 years later with two more girls after my eldest sister and you still continue to do everything in your power to keep us happy.

Mamá, Papá I owe you everything. But how do I repay the years of unconditional love, guidance, support, even money? Yes, I am going to school not only for myself but for you. Yes, I can get a great career and buy you all these items, but nothing will ever amount to what you have done for me.

You have made me who I am. Just like my dad: hardworking, dedicated and goofy. Just like my mom: sensitive, caring and patient. You have made me into a beautiful soul, a passionate soul.

I am a reflection of you.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
