I might know you, I might not. But either way, hi. Life is tough, and especially tougher now that finals are two weeks away. It might seem like everything is going against you and you are fighting this battle your own, whatever it may be. You could just be trying to finish all your homework and study, but maybe your room needs to be cleaned and dishes need to be done, or you might even have a family issue that is not minimal and is very serious. No matter what it is, I want to sincerely tell you I believe in you to get over this mound in the road.
I have learned that in life, nothing ever comes easy. Everything comes with a sacrifice. And depending on your situation, it will be different to everyone, but still meaningful to you as an individual.
If things don’t go the way you want to, remember that what is meant for you won’t pass you by. Things happen for a reason and I bet you there’s a really good reason why you didn’t get the job at the restaurant across the street from school (you’re too overwhelmed with schoolwork but you don’t realize it) or why your professor gave you more homework this weekend (you need to be forced to practice material so you would do well on the final).
I know how hard it is to be in a bad situation. Go ahead and let yourself feel sad or mad or destroyed; you are only human. But don’t let those feelings stick with you too long. Reflect on the idea that when your life is put to shambles, God is leading you to something greater.
There’s a cause and effect to everything. And likewise, there is a reason for why something happened, there’s also an effect it has on you. It is up to you if you let it destroy you, define you or strengthen you.
I hope you think about the things I’ve said. I hope you see the light at the end of the tunnel very soon or if not, at least envision how great it can be.
