Tyion, you are four! Caleb, you are almost two! Right now, you boys won't understand, but I am the best friend that you'll ever have... Let me explain. I am the friend that will come to visit, buy you almost anything, spoil and love on you, and leave so you get a chance to miss me! Those times that mommy and daddy get on your nerves, guess who you can call? Me! I can relate to it more than you think because your moms are my sisters. I can talk my sisters into almost anything, as long as it's logical, and if they say no, I got you! I won't embarrass you in front of your friends like your moms will. I'll be the auntie that lets you bring your friends to my house if mom says no. Yes, Keya (Tyion's mommy) and Kami (Caleb's mommy) will think that I am choosing you both over them... And they're probably right! Y'all are my two men! Distance won't separate us, no matter if you boys move to two opposite sides of the U. S. That's what planes, trains, and cars are for! When you both are old enough to understand, give your moms big kisses for me and thank them for bringing you into this world. I wouldn't trade you babies for anything! I don't care how old you both get, y'all will forever be my big babies that I will protect through anything.
As you boys grow, you will experience heartache, tough decision-making, and bad choices. Your moms can spank you and yell at you and ground you, but they can't ground you from Auntie. I'm coming over and we're going to talk about it so it doesn't happen again. There will be things that you can't share with your moms, which makes sense! That's why you tell me and I keep your secrets! I am here to help you both grow and be better men.
I want to play and run around and be silly without being judged, and I know that my boys will let me do that! Sometimes mom and dad won't want to go to the aquarium or the movies. Y'all better call me, because I love aquariums!
All of this is only under two conditions. You boys better call me every holiday and when you see me, I better get unlimited kisses and hugs! If you can provide that for me, you get 100 percent auntie-time when requested.
I love you both and you guys will never understand how much! I will be here for as long as God allows me to be and I will enjoy you both throughout the entire years that I live. You both are my best friends and I am yours! I will be there for you and listen to you like a best friend should.
