A Letter To My Housemates That Are Graduating

My Perfect Seniors,

It's about time, right? It's been a quick four years and an even quicker two years for me. I know how big this is for you, trust me. I might actually be more afraid than you are, but above all things I am proud to have gotten to know all of you, and I'm even more proud to have seen what you've accomplished this past semester. Living with you stunning group of women has by far been one of the best experiences I've had thus far. It's been nothing short of a total blast. I'll miss our late nights watching movies, going out, eating dinner and being total nut jobs more than you'll ever know. Though I am younger, goofier, and a little less mature than all of you, I can't say I'd trade having you by my side (literally) for the world. It's scary to think that you're leaving me so soon, but I cannot express enough my excitement for you as you make way for the next chapter of your lives. I know in my heart that all of you have nowhere to go but up as you move forward.

Now, you didn't think I was going to leave you on that depressing note, did you? Absolutely not. Well, I'm not entirely sure if these will be of any use to you, but I've compiled a to do list for when you move out. Here it is:

1. Do leave me everything you don't want. Don't forget your girl is a poor undergrad student and the struggle is real.

2. Do NOT move out too soon. I want to procrastinate you leaving as much as I can.

3. Do NOT hesitate to call me at any time or any moment of the day. I will want to hear from you more than anything to see what you're up to, and I'll probably be bugging you like crazy letting you know what I'm up to.

4. Do come visit me (with your dogs). I'll need it.

5. Do keep the group chat alive. I'll need it.

6. Do NOT forget about me while you're busy adulting in the real world.

7. Do NOT turn into too much of an adult.

8. Do NOT ever change. Never never EVER for ANYONE. You all bring so much to the world and you're too valuable to change, I can promise you that.

9. Do NOT forget that if you need someone when no one else is there, you have me.

10. Do refer back to this list when you're sad.

11. Do NOT be afraid to use this list as an actual checklist :)

Well, I leave you with my words of wisdom, pals. You can take it from here. I love you more than words can say. Thank you for bettering me and being among the greatest friends I could've ever asked for. You are all one of a kind. Catch you on the flip side.
