Dear younger self,
I'm guessing it's a busy Tuesday. You probably just got out of a class and are extremely stressed over the amount of homework you'll have to do. I bet you have a club meeting after school and then music lessons. But don't forget to breathe.
I'm here to tell you that it will all be worth it. You are going to succeed. All that studying and involvement in school will pay off.
Also, don't worry about what others think. These people mean nothing and you'll probably never see them all again.
Grades aren't everything. Make sure to have some fun. Go to the football game and take a break sometimes. Watch an extra show on Netflix.
If you are sick, it is entirely okay to miss school. Your physical and mental health should come way before grades on your priority list.
Don't forget to remember that it is okay if you want to get out of this town. But just remember that this town has made you who you are. It has shaped your life and it'll always be home.
Remember it is okay to be different. You are not perfect but you have a beautiful soul and a great future ahead.
Most of all, remember to put yourself first. You are important and you need to take care of yourself. Love yourself and all your flaws.
