Hey Love,

I know that you feel like your world is falling apart. I know that you are at a loss for words because nothing you think or say will take the pain away. I'm so sorry that something or someone shattered the confidence that you used to feel and took your beautiful smile away. I can promise you one thing, it's all going to be okay. This loss that you have experienced- whether it's a romantic relationship, an ability, or a passion will change you for the better and will make you stronger if you let it.

You may not see that when it all first hits you. You're in shock, trying to figure out what life is going to be like from now on. I bet it feels like nothing will ever be the same, and truthfully, it won't. That's okay, in all honesty it's more than okay. because it's the best thing that could ever possibly happen to you. Heartbreak forces you to focus on yourself, not on what was lost. Whatever made you happy before can no longer do so, and now you're faced with a choice: tell yourself that you can't be happy without it, or find happiness within yourself.

Look in the mirror and tell yourself that you are beautiful. Take those extra few minutes each morning to put together that cute outfit. Wear that necklace you bought because you loved it, even though it has been sitting in you jewlery box. You don't need anyone else approving of who you are or what you look like. Yes, it's nice, but the admiration of someone else means little because admiring yourself is so much more important.

When you feel like crying, cry and then move on. It's important to acknowledge your feelings, but don't dwell on them. See that old friend, have a girls night out, talk to someone close to you about what you're feeling. I promise, you are not a bother. There are so many reasons to be happy and we don't even know it. Be proud of all that you accomplish, even the little things. Be positive and upbeat because even though you've learned that life doesn't always go the way you planned, there's still so much to smile about.

I know, it's a lot harder than it sounds. There's going to be days when heartbreak takes you over. But, there will be days when your heartbreak makes you stronger than you ever thought you'd be. Those are the days you'll be thankful for the struggle you endured, because it showed you how to be truly happy.

Keep your head up Princess,

I believe in you.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
