Dear Mom,
What it means to be a mom: the woman who loves you unconditionally from birth, the one who puts her kids before herself and the one who you can always count on above everyone else.
Words can't describe how lucky I am to be your daughter, you are my best friend. I am so thankful for all of the things that you have done and continue to do for me.
I am thankful because you have never given up on me, you help me strive to become the person that I am today. Thank you for never letting me give on my dreams and to all of the great things that I have had the opportunity to do in my life. I am thankful because when I was sick you stayed by my side the entire time. You always put everyone before yourself, when we are sick or hurt you always do something to help us get better.
Being your best friend has its ups and its downs, but in the end we do everything together. We go to the beach, we go shopping and much much more. The best part of you being my best friend is that I can come to you when ever i am in need of help or when I need someone to talk to. Even if it is the littlest things. I just know that I can come to you. I love your sense of humor and I love how you can brighten up someone's day when they are down.
As I graduated from high school and I am about to start a new journey in life I know that it won't be the same. It won't be the same because you won't be there to help with the things that I might need help on. I know that I have to try and figure it out on my own and think about new ways to solve problems before I come to you for help.
I know that I will miss you dearly and I know that I am a phone call away from asking for any advice for anything, whether it is for school related or any relationship advice that you might have that I could use. I know that I will always remember the trip to Ocean City we took just us two, that we just sat on the beach and just relaxed for the whole week. I will always remember the times where you and dad restate some of the funniest lines from movies that you have watched and some of stories that you shared when you were younger.
I know that I will always love you and that I will always cherish the moments that we've had over the years and I am proud to call myself your daughter.
Love,
Taylor
