Dear Mom,

You are truly one of the most important people in my life, if not the most important. Thank you for being supportive of me and loving me unconditionally. Thank you always being by my side even though you are multiple hours away. You are my rock and help me through any dilemma that I may be experiencing either in person or over the phone.

Thank you for taking care of me when I am home visiting by making me my favorite food and doing my laundry. Thank you for never contributing to my stress but instead trying to diminish it.

I know that this is incredibly cliché; however, you are most definitely the wind beneath my wings. You keep me going when I want to give up or when I am having a panic attack. But you are always there telling me I can do it and how amazing of not only a daughter but a person I am. The confidence you have in me gives me confidence in myself and I will make you proud.

I admire the way you love and take care of myself along with my siblings. You do absolutely everything for us, even more than yourself sometimes, and I really want to thank you for that. It's amazing how you put us in front of yourself and you never have regrets about it. When I become a mom, I hope to be half the mother you are because your passion for your children is admirable and I want to be like that.

Not only are you an amazing mother, you are an amazing person. You help anyone who needs it, not just your children. You could take the shirt off your own back and give it to someone who really needs it. I also admire that about you. You are the nicest person I know and I want to take what I see you do for others and do that in my life as well.

You are incredibly nice but also super funny. I love how we constantly joke about random, silly little things and that you use the latest slang in a regular sentence. Thank you for always putting a smile on my face.

Thank you for being my mother and teaching me to enjoy the little things in life. Thank you again for your support and always being by my side both physically and in thought. Thank you for helping me through the tough times and laughing with me during the happy ones. Thank you for making me confident, independent and ambitious. I appreciate everything you do for me and admire you in the most sincerest way. Thank you for being a great role model and my best friend.
