The election of a new president of the USA always comes with its fair share of normal emotional responses, the least of which is a longing to continue the current administration. No matter what party, whenever the keys to the White House are handed over, mourning ensues.
What isn't a normal emotional response is the response the meme community gave our current administration this past week, and more specifically our lovably insane vice president. Oh, the internet had a field day with VP Joe Biden this past week, and I'm here to bring you up to speed on the the cream of the crop, for your viewing pleasure.
To start off, during President Obama's address on the election of Trump, Mr. Biden dusted off his physical comedy practice while the country watched on, entertained.
Then, a brilliant clip from the first 2008 Vice Presidential debate resurfaced, in which Biden is posed a very serious and topical question. Biden responds in the only way he can -
- awkward dad humor.
Then, another old classic of his resurfaced, in which his verbal grace was brilliantly demonstrated:
After all the videos that came up, the internet also got its hand on Mr. Biden's unrequited love for ice cream:
...and then, as the internet is wont to do, took it too far.
But none of these have anything on what happened on social media, when the masses got ahold of the White House Photographer's pics of Joe.
