I've been in total denial that college is winding down to a close my entire senior year. However, now that spring break has come to a close and we are beginning the second half of the final semester of my college career, I suppose there's no avoiding it any longer. To help deal with the stress that accompanies this mildly terrifying realization, I've comprised a checklist of things to think about and things to do to make sure I get the most out of these last 8 weeks.
1. Quit caring what people think.
After this May, you will never see the vast majority of your classmates again, so don't give so much value to what they may think of you. Throw caution to the wind and live every moment to its fullest.
2. Go on vacation with your friends.
It doesn't have to be anything grandiose, but like I said in number one, it will be a whole lot harder to see many of your classmates after graduation, including your friends. Pile as many friends as you can into your car and go make some memories.
3. Say 'yes' when people invite you to do things.
You're never going to remember the nights you stayed in and got plenty of sleep.
4. Be that person who takes pictures of everything.

5. Do something out of your comfort zone.
Whether it's something as crazy going skinny dipping at night or something as simple as going to a bar for the first time, what's the worst that could happen? You could hate every minute of it, but at least you'll have a story to tell.
6. Attend school-sanctioned functions.
Go to as many club meetings or student government-sponsored activities as you can. Honestly, even go to the dining hall for meals. The sense of community is one of the best parts about college. Embrace it while you can.
7. Go to school sporting events.
Sure, you can go to games after you've graduated, but there's something really cool about being able to say that's your team and that you go to that school. School spirit is definitely not overrated.
8. Don't wish your time away.
It's so easy to think, "Man, I wish this week would be over already!" But with just half a semester left, every moment counts, even the tough ones. Take a look around at all the positive things going on during stressful times. Even when everything seems bad, there are lots of other things going on that you take for granted that you will definitely miss
