In May I will have been graduated from L'Anse Creuse high school for two years. Still, there are things that I remember that can still be viewed as true to this very day.
1. If you went to L'Anse Creuse Central, L'Anse Creuse North was your mortal enemy.
2. When you never made it to your class on time if you had a locker in the pool lobby.
3. When a couple was caught doing "adult themed stuff" in the school parking lot.
4. When all of the senior pranks consisted of putting zip ties on all the lockers.
5. When you prayed that you would get put in the same lunch time group as your friends.
6. When Mrs. Ethridge was known as Lady E because she owns land in Scotland.
7. When the football team was never looked on very fondly.
8. When the real stars of the show were the lacrosse team players.
9. When leggings and hoodies were the standard "dress code" for the girls.
10. When the junior and senior guys kept their keys on a lanyard sticking out of their pockets to show they drove to school.
11. When Mrs. Benevites wore eight inch heels every day to teach A.P. history and we wondered how she did it.
12. When homecoming was never finished until someone from your friend group ended up crying in the bathroom.
13. When freshman participated in Mrs. Argiri's Save The Manatee Race in the hopes to get extra credit... they never did.
14. When we had a step team.
15. When two freshmen got on the wrong bus to come back from Pankow and ended up at L'Anse Creuse North.
16. When the physics class had a boat regatta and you got to team up with your friends to build the best boat.
17. When showing your shoulders was a dress code violation.
18. When Wednesdays were the best days because we were let out an hour early.
19. When we would scream the fight song at the top of our lungs during homecoming week.
20. When we will always be Lancers at heart.
