Krukrustudio is a Moscow-based boutique known for their wide collection of cutesy, kitschy, and unique items. Owned and operated by just two people, Lyuba and Max keep very busy since opening their shop on Etsy in 2011. Around the world, people are buying their meticulously handcrafted, one-of-a-kind items to fulfill a desire for all things literary, geeky, and kooky. And, in case you're in the market, Lyuba and Max make some pretty incredible bags.
Beware though, Krukrustudio is a dangerous place that can make you buy things you never once pictured would belong in your closet. For instance, I never once thought I wanted (or needed) a bag made in a shape of Homer's "The Iliad," but I do.
But even if maybe you never really fancied "The Iliad," there are still currently 33 other literary titles to choose from, and if none of those suit your style, Krukrustudio offers custom bookbags in any color, by any author, in any language! The typeface of the book can be in silver, gold, white, black, red or blue letters, upon your choice.
And if you are not a supporter of the production or purchasing of new leather products, fair warning a great deal of these bags are not for you; however, there are still some fantastic wool felt options if that's something you're more comfortable with.
I was perusing Krukrustudio the other day when someone walked up behind me and asked, "But what can that thing possibly hold?" Well, for one, a wallet, but I think they were missing the point. When it comes to these bags, function is secondary and appearance is primary. These bags are about screaming as loud as you possibly can that this is me, being an absolute geek in the best way I know how.
Also, as an added note, members of the "Dr. Who" fandom, this shop gives you options.
Lots of options.

A ton of options.

So, take a look at Krukrustudio's ever-growing collection of felt and leather bags.
