If you thought nonsense English phrases were only a thing in Forever 21, let me introduce you to every store in a South Korean shopping mall. In my four days of being in Korea, I've noticed that many restaurant names, street signs, store names and so on are written in English. Despite English words being present almost everywhere, Korean fashion designers and product makers still have a lot to learn.
1. Cheer up! Rise Above. Hello Sunshine Play Ground
Yes! Many Good. Goodbye Shirt School House.
2. Mini Bucket
This... is a water bottle.
3. Catus
When you try your best but you don't succeed...
4. Solt
Can I have some pipper with that?
5. Life is too short.
Life is too short to what? Someone please finish this sentence.
6. Stand Up. Don't Forget to Love Yourself.
Oh, life is too short to forget to love yourself!
7. Love Drink
Love eat. Love sleep. Love run. Love sing. Love stand. Love YOURSELF.
8. #Discord I don't think it means what you think it means.
So what does it mean? Why does Korean fashion leave me with so many unanswered questions?
9. Lazy Glasses
I don't know if this is exactly weird English, but these are the weirdest freaking things I have seen today.
10. Handsome Broccoli
Is it?
