Are we doing more than just keeping with the Kardashian family drama or a rich girl who cried wolf publicity stunt?

This week, the whole world has been keeping up with the Kardashians. However, we're not just keeping up the Kardashian fam drama but we're keeping up with the alleged gunpoint robbery in Paris Saturday against Kim Kardashian West.

Although no one wants to believe this to be true, many people are wondering if this crime was an actual crisis or if it was a planned publicity stunt. What we do know is that people everywhere are raising eyebrows, asking questions, and not everybody is expressing sympathy for Kardashian West or her family.

So, down to business. Who, what, where, when, why, and most importantly: HOW?!

Well, according to a CNN article, "The French Interior Ministry said the culprits were disguised as police officers. Five men threatened the concierge at the mansion with a weapon, handcuffed him and forced him to open the private apartment. Two of the men were able to gain entry to Kardashian West's room, according to the Paris prosecutor's office, and a gun was held to her head."

In addition, the jewelry that was stolen has not even been identified as hers or jewelry she had been borrowing for the Paris Fashion Show she was attending. If the jewelry was not hers and the crime comes out as a stunt, then we know she will be in big trouble.

We also go on to read that she was pleading for her life as she was tied up in a bathroom but the funny thing is that there is absolutely no surveillance of the incident whatsoever thus far.

In a Fox News article, a police expert and former DEA agent, Michael Levine said that the robbery incident could unsurprisingly be an "elaborate hoax." As far as police force and action goes in this case, Levine says, "I'm certain they will say nothing. They have enough problems. The amount of terrorism problems, threats, and investigations ongoing in France right now likely has every man and woman with a badge working double-time, so if you wanted to run a hoax or publicity stunt, I am not saying that is what they did, but France would be the place to do it."

On another note, a question I have running through my head is why would Kardashian West even think about seeking this type of publicity when she and her husband are already infamous around the world? It also seems very "lucky" that her children happened to be at home for this robbery as well.

I know what most of you are probably thinking: how the hell could Kim Kardashian West get tied up, robbed of more than 10 million dollars in jewelry and phones, have no surveillance of it, be physically unharmed and not be questioned by authorities. Well, when you are as famous and wealthy as this family, police forces will not want to question her right away, accuse her of a hoax, and have a lawsuit after them the next day as well. But, only time will tell and if the case unravels to be a hoax then the Kardashians might just go down in history as no better than attention whores.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
