Can no one take a joke? Life is too short for sadness. Just kidding I'm really sad... no but really. Everyone takes everything too seriously. I think we all tend to forget that we're all animals. We're all homo sapiens. It's time we kick back and laugh at everything rather than shed dozens of tears like I am because of college.
I think the cure to everything is laughter. That's my motto, it would have been my senior quote if I didn't miss the deadline, and it'll be on my gravestone. It's either that or the annoyed face emoji. I haven't decided yet. When life gives me lemons, I like to throw the acidic juice into my closest enemies eyes. I HATE you, so you deserve it. I'm kidding! If life gives me lemons I tickle them to make them laugh! Because the cure to everything is laughter. The next time you have a friend who's sad over believing they're going to die alone, tell them they might (it's bad to lie) but at the same time tickle them. They'll have no choice but to laugh. If they don't laugh it's time you find new friends.
I feel like life throws a ton of things at you to get you down. It's really hard to be optimistic when living in such a negative pessimistic world. But you honestly just have to be. By letting yourself sink to the depths of sadness, it's wasting time that could be spent on seeing the good in everything. Failed a test? You'll do better next time! Burned the pot roast you spent 15 hours working on? Maybe if you ate it you would have died from food poisoning! Lost an arm in a tragic accident? Hey it may have been your dominant hand, but now you can learn to write with your left! There's something positive in everything. It's just up to you to find it.
It's not what happens to you, but your reaction to it. Yes, bad things have happened to me, and yes I've been there, but I've gotten out of "there." If I crack a joke that's super sarcastic, stop being super offensive. LOL. I know it's blunt, but it's called a joke for a reason. No you don't actually look like a rhinoceros. I was joking. I was trying to make you laugh! You obviously don't look like a rhinoceros. You're a human, so I don't get why you're so offended.
