End of September and early October can be the best of times and the worst of times. Football season is in full force, fall clothing has arrived, but then so have midterms.
At the beginning of the semester, you get your syllabus in each class and already know that you will have at least one hell-week ahead of you. This hell-week consists of two papers and three midterms in the span of two days, while still dealing with the FOMO of wanting to go out but knowing you should stay in and study. However, you forget about the hell-week cause you figure it's so far away, until all of a sudden it's the end of September and you know that all your exams are next week.
