This year I am posting my ballot for Kanye West running 2020 if he comes back to America. The uphill battle for all the Dems and Republicans after this presidential election ended with the Republicans run legislative, executive, and the judicial branch. Have fun but this is not the first time of course. And we must all be aware to educate ourselves and secure the purpose to vote for the country but I am stating here the conservative policies have always launched a huge wave of liberal music which conservatives will never jail. This is overall a country expressing everyone’s freedom of speech and the music now has expressed every concern against many political establishments as well as matters in love affairs. The birth of liberal American music is commonly acquired in the sixties opposing the Vietnam War, legalization of marijuana, etc. started to bring other political themes range of affirmative action and healthcare in the political agenda of the United States. It was the minority at first but those years have replaced the old titles and established institutions. New sets of political opinions have emerged through those rough times but the people are upset for the success of those years might end.
The silent majority called the hippie movement to never last but it did and it is alive and well. However the decision for America changes rapidly through the course of four years. And may say, yes the silent majority won. The populist, not Republican, Donald Trump reached out to voters who had opportunities like six week maternity leave which already is in effect. I know because my mother had me that long of a time before my birth. Moreover, those supporting president-elect Trump are not educated about economics. If you are taking this as attacking uneducated remarks to those who did receive a college degree or high school degree you are sadly mistaken to think. I am a finance major who is knowledgeable in the economic status of this country. Corporate taxes reduced to 15% which from the United States finance institutions. This trickle down economic theory is expected for the corporations or the higher level profit shareholders to benefit the average consumer and hand surplus to invest in whatever. However 90% of the United States wealth is financial institutions may cause not one but many drops including double recessions periods in the stock market because consumers who are handed money are not aware the profitable stockholders can invest to anyone they want. Remember the 2008 recession lead many shareholders burn their money because the investors influenced them to invest but on business ratings that are originally B ratings but the investors lured the consumer to invest on the company that was nowhere AAA ratings yet developed to make them this rating. The unknown advantage for the consumer left the recession to last longer and manipulate consumers. Meaning people whatever you invest by choice is choice for the financial institutions to have the freedom to do what they want. This is what the Democrats wanted to do and not ruin the institutions at the same time. And the LGBTQ community I will assure gay marriage will not be illegal again. Yet just because your love is legal in the public, Trump will prevent these citizens which quite frankly abuse their rights. I have met many transgender people who are terrified that Trump wanted at first get rid of the Food and Drug Administration remember? Doing so, the right for a transgender person to undergo hormonal therapy is necessary but if the republicans decline the use for any special treatments same as birth control regulated to young women then the transgender are left in target. It is the same thing happening at Jim Crow Laws. Plus these citizens have been used for sexual pleasures through the course of history. Two thousand years worth of absorbing a lustful mind to all mankind that these men and women who seek for sexual freedom violated and raped. Thus I think American Trump voters will take that position to lust over the LGBTQ community and demolish what the growing thousand year battle will never hand the victor which is the abused. The victor is for those who are the majority and unharmed.
But I will admit I sound like a lot of paranoid media journalists which is recognized as the most popular medium for American voters. The most convincing medium for American voters is music expressing and addressing politics. Funny thing is most of the music today are with filled party anthems and hick country music but music yet again will increase the counter culture movement. The great words from this culture movement released many artists especially the rap industry to intellectually think of innovative ways to increase awareness on all related United State’s issues. The top artists are Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West and I love to meet them. In one Tweet from Kanye West, he stated “600,000 people rallied for justice on Dec. 13 #blacklivesmatter” which means he is aware the amount of people involved for a cause. The one tweet was passed on 14,000 times in a short time. Thus will have a great wave of populist music lovers who will vote for Kanye West because his followers who admire him understand he concerned with social justices.
Presidents and those elected must listen to critical musical movements that oppose them. In the beginning of Ronald Reagan taking office, many punk bands started to launch the cliche killing Reagan or seeing Reagan was the devil. Reagan in the 1980’s was a loved president but a musical movement despised his views. Why Ronald Reagan was the best thing that ever happened to Punk Rock, Tony Rettman addresses “punks will always question authority, especially an authority who looked so great with a Hitler mustache” and yet Reagan was a suited president probably for America at that time. Punk rock and political movements are always going to secure the audacity and powerful motive to speak anywhere in the public eye. However it can a stop if the music stops. The hardcore music scene which Ronald Reagan was the godfather of the genre ended. Maybe the circumstance can be explained by Edmund Burke saying “the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men should do nothing”. The punks feared Reagan to be a huge evil and themselves, the good “mohawk” dudes did not do much. I say not a wide fan base. Sadly I hated to see that go. But overall the end of punk is never happening but will revive even though the general public will want Trump to stay in office. I am highly looking forward to jump in the mosh-pit, and crowd surf again like i have done at many punk rock shows. It will light it up like the Fourth of the July. Although punk rock has reached the mainstream like Blink 182 and Green Day, bands who were influenced by punk rock like Cage the Elephant, Manchester Orchestra, the Strokes, all of these bands who hunger for their musical genres around them use it to their advantage. Music unlike the media can revive the strongest emotion for humans once felt because every note makes every lyric memorable. You can’t kill a man, because his message live within all men. The glorious days of this genre will send a new wave and save people from this huge fallen depression and start a campaign to never give up like the hardcore punk scene did. Fight to the very end and the people will follow. In these times of desperate unification, I ask all Republicans to listen to the people who hate you and these people are not crying babies. These are popular bands who are talented and want to have a better country. So the president elect please hear your citizens and not let a movement leading to discussing powerful issues die
Musical artists will embrace the chance to set foot in the white house. The musical genres in these current years have reflected how the public eye sees the criminal and wrongdoing of the political system. So the question, will the next political leader be Kanye West? It is a strong choice and I want him back to prove the point that America can literally vote anybody for president and not abide to elect another Congressman. Kanye West has said very rude ego moments, trying to prove he is better than anybody, and claims the Confederate flag is he’s flag. The most controversial musical figure I can think of today yet people including me listen to his music. His great talent of voices in his albums revolutionized how the voice is used which proves he is a genius. Yet And I will proudly admit that Donald Trump is a genius when it comes business. I have the Art of the Deal in my bookshelf at home and still read it for my business education. Everyone remember that Donald Trump has controversial issues like racial slurs, hatred remarks towards women, and vague policies but people love him and elected him. Thus proves the point as if we can elect Trump for his business skills to achieve the role as president then we can elect Kanye West for his musical talent to become president. Setting talent aside, most will argue Trump had some assimilation to some political lobbies. There is no doubt he can arrange money loans and receivable to various political leaders. In a way, it is justified to assume Donald Trump does have connection to the political leaders but it is political. It is a relationship between how money must improve the political representatives who need to make his campaign a success. That said, Kanye West has expressed his political views in many interviews and tweets. Remember what he said for Hurricane Katrina benefit show “George Bush doesn’t care for black people” because like Donald Trump Kanye West will directly attack those and carry out his views further on live broadcasting. Thus, Kanye West does provide a strong urge to state his political views on the drop of a dime with his Tweeter and the followers he has accumulated through his music fan base.
More liberal music reaches the mainstream audience. The new music today is starting clash new themes like protecting transgender rights, corruption in the mind and attacking primitive ideas of society. Every genre of music is taking part in protecting and releasing all kinds of support to the people. The one genre i can think at a tipping point is country which does have a lot of mentions favoring the Republican party. And yet we have the most disturbing music of all hick rap spreading across this highly multicultural society. Conservative music has lost its edge but has come back in recent years after the assassination of Osama Bin Laden. But many songs like “I was born and free” means simply i have to be born in this country to be free. And many country songs relies on a lie how terrorists can’t take away my freedom. Freedom is not free but freedom is equal opportunity. Freedom will never be taken away because all men are created equal thus if you die your freedom goes to the next child. Country music is to talk about the hardships and turn to love ones. Country: the birth to love the land you build with a community of loyal people for the same cause. A country song depicting the days i can remember i am an American with my rights violated and abused. But terrorists taking away your rights is not country music but protecting several rights you think will be lost because from these terrorists. So Anne and Janie get your gun. All of us in a nation are abided to obtain divine rights and will never have any one oppressing us to take them away. If so, it is not a democracy but a con artist’s playground. Country music is associated with more of the white population and from the election polls, more white people have voted for Trump than women and minorities. These states have promoted genres which is listen to the majority of the white population. Moreover, not one state has identified it as loving rap music and only Hawaii agree to love soul music. If there was many states admit to love rap music and hip hop music, Donald Trump would not win the president elect because these musical genres are dominated to the minority community. Kanye West can increase many people to love rap and hip hop music because his innovation has taken it to new heights.
I am here to state that what I am saying is my voiced opinion and in no shape or form associated to a political party. I am here to state that the populist movement has started to bring a change to America and this change is not political science. It is who ever wanted a skillful person who happens to start later careers as a celebrity becomes President. We as citizens are not electing politicians but celebrities and will elect Kanye West if this wave of populism does expand very quickly. And it is dangerous how the American people can elect a man like Donald Trump. I am speechless and forever will be speechless. By the time I have kids, I won't speak about this matter because there is nothing left to say about it. However I can express this wave of frustration to my music. I will not say it, I will sing it. Thus everyone vote for more music distribution for all the states to have diverse tastes. Vote for those unknown bands who have a voice in the counterculture movement like punk. Vote for the man of the hour: Yeezy 2020!
