After a petition signed by over 100,000 people asked for the cancelation of Kanye's headlining show at the UK rock and roll festival, Glasonbury, the self proclaimed 'greatest living rock star' set out to prove them wrong. Following in Jay-Z's 2008 Glastonbury footsteps, Ye opened with unquestionable rock and roll crowd pleaser, Bohemian Rhapsody. One hundred something thousand people may have signed that petition but they sure didn't seem that bothered when they all flocked to the stage.

The best part about concerts is whatever is going on in the world you can see people from all over join together to enjoy the universal language that is music. Kanye used the rock classic as a segue into his song 'Can't Tell Me Nothing'. Not one person in the entire crowd not missing a beat, singing along with both songs showing the cross generational timelessness of music.
But it gets better. It's no secret that I love Kanye, not as much as Kanye loves Kanye, but still. I even loved him when he interrupted T-Swift's MTV acceptance speech because even though that was a d*ck move you got to admire his untouchable ego, that took guts. But as karma does, it came back around and Kanye got Kanye'd.

British comedian Lee Nelson thought Kanye could use a hand on stage but as the natural diva Kanye is, he had security tackle him off the stage and insisted on restarting the song. But nothing was more rock and roll than the fashion guru's acid wash destroyed denim outfit which probably cost more than a year of my college tuition. You got to hand it to him, he always dresses the part.
